I. Structures and Features

The YNJQ590 hydraulic bucking machine (also called as hydraulic makeup and breakout unit) is equipped with 6 hydraulic cylinders. During operation, the pipe remains fixed while the 6 cylinders work in sync to clamp the coupling and rotate continuously. Each cylinder controls one jaw, and the reliable synchronizer is imported from Italy. The backup tong can float slightly to automatically adjust its center. The clamping force is controlled by the hydraulic system.

This design offers several key advantages: broad application range, high mechanical strength, reliable clamping with no slippage, minimal pipe damage, small die marking in accordance with API standards, and high automation. Additionally, the machine features automatic speed regulation via a frequency converter, making it suitable for premium connections.

The backup tong (Tailstock) adopts an top-opening structure for clamping the pipe body. The opening mechanism is driven by a hydraulic cylinder, allowing the top jaw to lift and open, which facilitates quick hoisting of the workpiece at the open position. The backup tong is mounted on a sliding trolley and can move along with the threads during make-up and break-out operations. And it is also equipped with a lock mechanism, which secures the top-opening structure when the opening function is not in use, effectively providing safety protection. And this machine is able to use power tong (headstock rotating wellhead) to makeup/breakout wellhead (weight ≥ 1.5T) and casing pipe.
