I. Structures and Features
The YNJQ400 hydraulic bucking machine (also called as hydraulic makeup and breakout unit) is equipped with 6 hydraulic cylinders. During operation, the pipe remains fixed while the 6 cylinders work in sync to clamp the coupling and rotate continuously. Each cylinder controls one jaw, and the reliable synchronizer is imported from Italy. The backup tong can float slightly to automatically adjust its center. The clamping force is controlled by the hydraulic system.
This design offers several key advantages: broad application range, high mechanical strength, reliable clamping with no slippage, minimal pipe damage, small die marking in accordance with API standards, and high automation. Additionally, the machine features automatic speed regulation via a frequency converter, making it suitable for premium connections.

The YNJQ400/68 bucking machine supports two-speed modes: high and low. The high-speed mode reaches up to 21 r/min, while the low-speed mode reaches 7 r/min. The equipment operates with high efficiency, enabling rapid make-up and break-out operations. Its compact footprint, with dimensions of 1.2×1.6×3 meters, allows for effective space-saving.
