1. Overview

The YNJG340 Automatic pre-tightening unit comprises the following integrated modules: coupling thread compound application and discharge runway, coupling greasing machine, pre-makeup main unit, bucking machine, step conveyor, full-length drift mandrel testing unit, hydraulic power system, and integrated control system.

It is capable of making up API standard thread types as well as shouldered and shoulderless premium connections.The system can display the torque/turns curve, automatically record turns and torque values, detect and analyze inflection torque of premium connections, and determine pass/fail results automatically based on the J-value.At the same time, the system generates and saves the pipe-coupling make-up curve.

There are eight operation modes, covering all thread types, including:

   1) Torque/Turns Mode

   2) Torque-only Mode

   3) Turns-only Mode

   4) Turns/Torque Mode

   5) Torque/J-value Mode

   6) J-value/Torque Mode

   7) A-value/Torque Mode (special trapezoidal thread mode)

   8) Premium Connection Mode
